At Koonung Heights Cricket Club, we pride ourselves on fostering a welcoming, diverse and inclusive environment for all cricket-loving members of our community.

In season 2017/18 the club first fielded a junior girls team. With a commitment to further nurture and promote Women’s community sport, our program has grown from strength to strength in each subsequent season.

Season 2020/21 marked a significant milestone in the history of the club, a year in which the Nungers proudly fielded our first ever senior Women’s cricket team. To top things off, our Women’s team were successful in winning a premiership in this inaugural competitive season, securing a special pennant for the club. Many of our cricketers from this inaugural Women’s premiership team make up the core of today’s squad, and in the seasons following have played off in many more finals matches.

Women’s cricket at KHCC continues to grow and evolve, and we remain committed to invest in our program and develop our offering for the benefit of new and current members with an interest to learn and enjoy the sport.
